For some people the outdoors can be a more relaxing and less intimidating place for therapy than the office. The therapeutic method is exactly the same but the location is different, walking side by side combining the beneficial effects of being outdoors with psychotherapy. With individual 1:1 counselling/psychotherapy we can meet in my office for the first session or two. The process is naturally quite organic and can take the form of walking & talking or using spaces e.g. gardens, tree groves etc to do the work. I have plenty of experience in working in this way.
