For some people, sitting in front of a therapist can be too intense so walking side by side or sitting in an outdoor setting can be very helpful. Others might just prefer to combine therapy with being outdoors.
Walk and Talk therapy can be very beneficial for PTSD, Panic, Anxiety treatment. Being outdoors can help our Nervous System reconnect to it’s natural setting.
It is also very beneficial for Depression treatment as exercise is known to improve the symptoms of depression. It can also be productive in Bereavement counselling.
The fees are the same as for regular indoor counselling with an option of doing 90 minute sessions for €80.
In case of bad weather I will always have extra raingear and umbrellas but we will always have the option to conduct a session indoors. This may happen for a variety of reasons including weather and ill health.
You do not need to be fit to do Walk and Talk counselling Dublin as we always go at your pace.
