Meditation and Mindfulness Resources

I have been practising meditation and mindfulness since 2009. I have studied various philosophies of mindfulness from the Christian, Buddhist and Hindu traditions and also from the more scientific background of MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction).

In 2014 I served as president of the Irish Vipassana Trust, an organization that provides donation based, nonreligious meditation retreats to the general public.

I am always happy to teach some basic mindfulness techniques in our session and to have a jargon free discussion on the subject. I have no hesitation in recommending the following resources below.

I have found when using audios that it can be beneficial to find one or two audios that suit e.g. the sound of the voice, the pace is good for you etc, and then try to deepen your practice with these one or two ‘go to’ audios.
